Marcus Johnson
Founder & CEO
With over 15 years in the packaging industry, Marcus founded Box Atlanta from a single warehouse bay on English Street. His vision of keeping usable boxes out of landfills has grown into a full-service operation serving hundreds of businesses across the Southeast.
Angela Davis
Operations Director
Angela brings 10+ years of warehouse and logistics management experience to Box Atlanta. She oversees daily operations, inventory flow, and quality control to ensure every box that leaves our facility meets our standards.
DeShawn Williams
Sales Manager
DeShawn is the bridge between our warehouse and your business. He works with clients to understand their packaging needs, find the right box types and quantities, and build long-term partnerships that save money and reduce waste.
Sarah Chen
Sustainability Lead
With a background in environmental science from Georgia Tech, Sarah manages our recycling programs and sustainability initiatives. She tracks our environmental impact and develops new ways to keep packaging materials in circulation.
James Rodriguez
Fleet & Logistics Manager
James coordinates all pickups and deliveries across the metro Atlanta area and beyond. He manages our fleet of vehicles and ensures timely, efficient service whether you need a single pallet or a full truckload.

Our Journey
Company Timeline
Founded in Atlanta
Box Atlanta was born from a simple idea: give used boxes a second life. Starting from a small warehouse in Atlanta, we began connecting businesses that had surplus boxes with those that needed them.
Expanded Operations
Growing demand led us to expand our warehouse capacity and add dedicated recycling processing. We partnered with local manufacturers to create a closed-loop packaging ecosystem.
Transportation Fleet
We launched our own fleet of vehicles to offer pickup and delivery across the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, making it easier for businesses to participate in sustainable packaging.
Gaylord Box Division
Recognizing the massive demand for industrial bulk containers, we opened a specialized division dedicated to gaylord boxes — buying, refurbishing, and reselling them.
Sustainability Milestone
We reached the milestone of diverting over 1 million boxes from landfills. Our recycling program became a model for packaging sustainability in the Southeast.
Full-Service Packaging
Today, Box Atlanta offers comprehensive packaging solutions including custom sizing, specialty materials, and complete logistics support for businesses across Georgia.

From our warehouse at 1454 English St NW in Atlanta, we serve businesses across the Southeast with reliable pickup and delivery options.
Metro Atlanta
Our core service area covers the entire metro Atlanta region. With our fleet based right here on English Street NW, we can typically fulfill orders the same day or guarantee next-day delivery. This includes all ITP (Inside the Perimeter) neighborhoods and extends through the greater metropolitan area.
Coverage includes:
Atlanta, Decatur, East Point, College Park, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Marietta, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Alpharetta, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Stone Mountain, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Peachtree City, Norcross, Tucker, and Lithonia.
Greater Georgia
We serve businesses throughout the state of Georgia with scheduled delivery routes. Orders are consolidated for efficient routing, and we can accommodate rush delivery for time-sensitive needs at a modest surcharge.
Coverage includes:
Macon, Athens, Augusta, Savannah, Columbus, Valdosta, Albany, Rome, Dalton, Gainesville, Warner Robins, and surrounding areas.
Southeast Region
Our reach extends across the Southeast through partner carriers and scheduled freight routes. For large orders in these areas, we offer competitive freight rates and can arrange for direct warehouse-to-warehouse delivery.
Coverage includes:
Birmingham AL, Chattanooga TN, Nashville TN, Greenville SC, Columbia SC, Charlotte NC, Raleigh NC, Jacksonville FL, Tallahassee FL, and the Florida panhandle.
