Our Four Pillars
Our sustainability strategy is built on four interconnected pillars.
Reuse First
Our primary mission is to extend the life of packaging materials. Every box that gets a second, third, or fourth use is one fewer box that needs to be manufactured. We inspect, clean, and refurbish used boxes to give them new life.
- Box refurbishment program
- Quality grading ensures safety
- Multi-use lifecycle tracking
- Customer education on reuse
Responsible Recycling
When boxes reach the end of their usable life, we ensure they are recycled through certified channels. Our partnerships with local recycling facilities guarantee materials are properly processed into new products.
- Certified recycling partners
- Chain of custody tracking
- Zero contamination standards
- Closed-loop processing
Waste Reduction
We actively work to reduce waste in everything we do — from optimizing our delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption, to using right-sized packaging that reduces material waste.
- Route optimization
- Right-sized packaging
- Minimal packaging materials
- Paperless operations
Community Impact
We believe sustainability starts locally. We partner with Atlanta-area schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to promote recycling education and provide affordable packaging.
- School recycling programs
- Nonprofit partnerships
- Community education
- Affordable packaging access
How We Close the Loop
Our process turns packaging waste back into useful products.
Collection
We collect used boxes and packaging materials from businesses, warehouses, and individuals across the Atlanta metro area.
Sorting
Materials are sorted into three streams: reusable (refurbish and resell), recyclable (send to recycling facility), and waste (minimal, typically less than 5%).
Refurbishment
Reusable boxes are cleaned, repaired, and graded. This extends their life and keeps them out of the waste stream for months or years longer.
Recycling
Non-reusable materials are baled and sent to certified recycling partners where they are pulped and turned into new paper and cardboard products.
New Products
Recycled fiber becomes new boxes, paper products, and packaging materials — completing the loop and reducing demand for virgin materials.
Sustainability Goals
We hold ourselves accountable with concrete, time-bound sustainability goals.
Achieve 90% landfill diversion rate for all materials processed
Transition delivery fleet to 50% alternative fuel vehicles
Implement solar power at our primary warehouse facility
Launch community box reuse exchange program for metro Atlanta
Achieve carbon-neutral operations across all business activities
Process 1,000 tons of recycled materials annually
